The central vignette is composed of two oval cartouches flanking a quartered heraldic shield bearing a rosette, a cross, and the date 'MDX', framed by an ornate scroll surround; the left cartouche contains a view of the local parish church with its distinctive tower, while the right cartouche presents a hilltop castle amid trees and rolling fields. | Descrizione del rovescio | Printed in reddish-brown on cream paper within a decorative Art Nouveau frame, the reverse carries a full typeset text in German Gothic (Fraktur) script setting out the legal authority for the issue, the total nominal value, and the redemption conditions. At the lower centre, the denomination '50' is set within a cartouche formed by interlocking geometric ornaments. Two printed facsimile signatures appear below the main text block, identifying the Kassenfüihrer and the Vorsteher, with the anti-counterfeiting legend 'Nachmachung wird gesetzlich bestraft' at the foot. |
