| Obverse description | Printed in red and black on grey-tan paper, the obverse is dominated by a central oval vignette bearing a bust portrait of the Styrian writer Peter Rosegger, identified by his name inscribed above within a floral frame of edelweiss and foliage. Flanking the central vignette are two smaller oval vignettes: a woman in traditional Styrian folk dress to the left and a man in regional costume to the right, all set within an elaborate black ornamental border of scrollwork and lace-like decorative elements. The denomination inscription 'Fünfzig Heller' and the numeral '50' appear in large red Gothic script along the lower margin, with the issuer legend 'Gutschein Gemd. Krieglach' arching across the top in matching red lettering; the notation 'III. Auflage' (third printing) appears at lower left. |
