| Obverse description | Green letterpress Notgeld (emergency currency) on cream paper, framed by a foliate guilloche border with denomination numerals '50' in each corner cartouche. A central vignette presents a line-engraved view of the Hölderrichsmühle (Holdrichsmühle), identified by caption as the birthplace of Schubert's Müller songs, surmounted by a circular portrait medallion of a gentleman in early 19th-century dress. Manuscript text blocks flanking the vignette state the municipality's guarantee of redemption, and below the central image a musical staff scroll bears the incipit 'Guten Morgen schöne Müllerin'; three manuscript signatures appear at the foot, attributed to the Bürgermeister (mayor), Vizebürgermeister, and Finanzreferent. |
