The Gesellschaft Einsiedler — a local business concern rather than a civic authority — printed through Deutsche Buchdruckerei in Innsbruck, a house that handled a substantial volume of Tyrolean emergency issues during this period. The designer, J. Demetz of Hall, was a local rather than a professional banknote artist, which was entirely normal for Notgeld of this type. The JPR0343a designation in Jaksch's specialized Notgeld catalog places this within a documented series for the issuer.
