The place name 'Gutenbrunn = Heiligenkreuz' is inscribed in Gothic blackletter script in the upper right, while the denomination legend '50 Heller Kassenschein 50' runs along the lower margin in matching script. The artist's signature 'E. F. Hofecker' appears in the lower right corner, and the entire design is enclosed within a decorative wave-pattern border. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse is printed entirely in black on cream paper and carries a multi-line redemption text in Gothic blackletter script, giving the issuing authority, legal guarantee clause, place and date of issue (Gutenbrunn, 15. Mai 1920), and an anti-counterfeiting warning at the foot. Two manuscript signatures appear below the titles '1. Gemeinderat:' and 'Bürgermeister:', and the printer's imprint 'Groß, St. Pölten.' is printed in small type at the very bottom. The design is enclosed within the same wave-pattern border used on the obverse. |
