Obverse description Cream-toned notgeld coupon printed in dark blue and brown, with a decorative dot-and-circle border running along all four edges. The denomination numeral "50" appears in bold blue within framed boxes at the upper left and upper right corners. A central circular vignette rendered in brown letterpress shows Greifenstein Castle on the Danube, its ruined tower set against a landscape background. The text "Gutschein für Fünfzig Heller" is set in Gothic blackletter script flanking the vignette, with a two-column guarantee text below reading that the Gemeinde Greifenstein an der Donau pledges its entire assets; validity is stated to 31 December 1920. Three facsimile signatures appear at the bottom for the Gemeinderat, Bürgermeister, and Vizebürgermeister, with the issuer name "Greifenstein a/o. D." in a panel at the foot and the designer credit "Entwurf N. Gottinger" in small type at lower right.

Reverse description Plain cream ground enclosed by a simple dashed-and-dot rectangular border in dark green. At the top, the denomination is given as "Heller 50 Heller" in Gothic script flanked by dotted rule lines. Below, the large Gothic word "Gutschein" heads the text panel, followed by "der Gemeinde Greifenstein a/d. D." A formal paragraph in smaller Gothic type cites the municipal council resolution authorising the issue of vouchers in denominations of 10, 20, and 50 Heller, redeemable in legal tender until 31 December 1920. Two further lines warn that counterfeiting is punishable by law and that only vouchers bearing the municipal seal are valid, with the place and date "Greifenstein a/d. D., am 30. Juni 1920" at the foot.
