正面描述 Printed in green on a lilac-pink ground, the obverse is divided into two principal fields by a decorative border of stylised foliate ornaments. The left vignette presents a letterpress view of the Gampern parish church, its tall steeple rising against a hatched sky above the church building. The right panel carries the denomination text in Gothic blackletter script reading 'Gutschein über Fünfzig Heller', beneath the heading 'Gemeinde', with the place name 'Gampern' in the lower border cartouche and a facsimile signature of the Bürgermeister; the numeral '50' appears in each corner.

备注

Gampern is a small Upper Austrian village — population well under a thousand even today — and this 50 Heller note is a product of the Notgeld wave that swept German-speaking Austria and Germany after the First World War, when coin shortages made small-denomination change essentially impossible to obtain. Municipalities, businesses, and even individual estates issued their own emergency fractions, most with only local acceptance and finite validity periods.

The Salzkammergut-Druckerei in Gmunden served a cluster of these small Upper Austrian communities, which accounts for the family resemblance across several Jaksc-catalogued issues from the region. Anton Gebetsberger's signature as issuing authority is the sole indicator of municipal accountability on the note.
