The denomination 'FÜNFZIG-HELLER' is set in large bold type above the vignette, surmounted by the legend 'GUT-SCHEIN', with decorative leaf ornaments flanking the text. To the right, a detachable coupon panel bears the numeral '50' within a circular guilloche frame above a dotted heart ornament and the vertical inscription 'MARKTGEMEINDE ERLAUF IM NIBELUNGENGAU'; the validity date '31. Dezemb. 1920' and the issue place and date 'ERLAUF, am 5. APRIL 1920' appear alongside the facsimile signatures of the Vizebürgermeister and Bürgermeister. |
