Obverse description The obverse is printed in purple-violet ink on cream paper. The left panel bears a large numeral '50' set within an octagonal frame with foliate ornamentation, below which the issuing authority inscription is arranged in vertical letterpress text. The right panel contains a detailed line-engraved vignette of the Erla Cloister as it appeared in 1672, rendered in an etching-like style and captioned 'Erla Closter 1672' within a decorative border incorporating floral rosette elements.

Reverse description The reverse is printed in purple-violet ink and divided into three vertical panels. The two outer panels carry Gothic-arch decorative borders enclosing the denomination numeral '50'. The central composition is flanked by two blocks of Gothic-script text stating the issue authority, total value authorised, and redemption terms, with a central rectangular vignette of a robed pilgrim saint figure holding a staff and flower, rendered in a medieval woodcut style. The Bürgermeister's manuscript signature appears below the right text block.
