Flanking the central text panel are two decorative vertical columns incorporating stylised chamois skull motifs and foliate ornaments. The central panel carries the issuing authority text in a bold hand-drawn gothic typeface, followed by a block of German-language authorisation text dated Ebensee, 17 April 1920, below which appear three manuscript signatures for the Vizebürgermeister, Bürgermeister, and Gemeinderat, with the year 1920 in large numerals at the foot. |

| 表面の銘文 | GUTSCHEIN DER ORTSGEMEINDE: EBENSEE Zur Linderung der Kleingeldnot gibt die Gemeinde Ebensee für 100.000 K Gutscheine aus. Die Gutscheine sind unverzinslich, werden von der Gemeinde Ebensee bis 31. Dezember 1920 in Zahlung genommen und in der Zeit vom 1. bis 31. Dezember 1920 in gesetzl. Bargelde eingelöst. Die Gemeinde Ebensee haftet für die Verbindlichkeit und hat hiefür eine eigene Deckungsrücklage bestellt. Ebensee, am 17. April 1920. Die Nachahmung der Gutscheine wird gesetzlich bestraft.
