Obverse description The obverse is printed in brown on a light blue scrollwork guilloche border that frames the entire note. To the left, the denomination '50' appears within a dark circular cartouche above the inscription 'Heller', with the validity clause 'Gültig bis 30. Dezember 1920' and the anti-counterfeiting warning 'Nachahmung wird bestraft' printed below. The right portion carries a central oval vignette with a letterpress view of the village church of Wolfsbach, its tall steeple rising against a clouded sky, captioned 'Wolfsbach' on a scroll at lower right; the title 'Gutschein der Gemeinden Bubendorf, Meilersdorf u. Wolfsbach' is rendered in decorative Gothic script across the upper field.

Reverse description The reverse is printed in blue-grey on cream paper, enclosed by a rectangular geometric border of repeated square motifs. The left text field carries the full German-language legal declaration stating that the municipal councils of Bubendorf, Meilersdorf, and Wolfsbach resolved on 1 April 1920 to issue Notgeld in denominations of 10, 20, and 50 Heller, with joint liability for redemption in lawful currency; three mayoral signatures appear below, each identified by municipality. To the right, a tall vertical panel contains a letterpress vignette of a standing armoured knight in full medieval plate, with a vertical legend reading 'Meilersdorf. her von Wolfsbach' alongside him, and a further vertical inscription along the outer right edge reading 'Alle Getreng Aller her Wolfshang von'.
