The upper portion carries the issuing authority text in Gothic script, centering the municipality name 'BEHAMBERG' on a separate line. A central rectangular cartouche with a hexagonal inner frame displays the denomination '50 Heller 50' in large script. Opmerkingen

Behamberg is a small municipality in Upper Austria, and this 50 Heller note is a product of the Notgeld wave that swept Austrian communities between 1919 and 1921. With the Habsburg monetary system in collapse and central authorities unable to supply adequate small change, thousands of parishes, towns, and even individual businesses issued their own emergency currency. E. Haas & Comp. in nearby Steyr was a natural choice for a community of Behamberg's size — local printer, manageable run, minimal logistics.

The Jaksc/Pick 'a' suffix indicates at least one variant exists for this denomination, worth noting when attributing examples.
