| 表面の説明 | Printed in brown on cream paper, the note is framed by a plain rectangular border. The text field is dominated by a large oval dotted vignette at centre containing the redemption text in handwritten-style script, with the Bürgermeister's facsimile signature at foot. Large Gothic-style letters spelling 'GUTSCHEIN GEMEINDE' arc across the top and 'BACHMANNING' across the bottom outside the oval. A narrow vertical panel at right carries an anti-counterfeiting warning in italic script. |

Bachmanning is a small village in Upper Austria, and its decision to issue 50 Heller notgeld in 1920 reflects the acute small-change shortage that plagued Austria in the years immediately following the collapse of the Habsburg monetary system. These municipal emergency notes were authorized under the broader notgeld framework but produced locally — quality and longevity of the paper stock varied enormously between issuing communities, and minor rural issues like this one were rarely saved in quantity.
The Jaksch/Pick reference JPR0072Ia places this firmly within the documented Upper Austrian series, though surviving examples from Bachmanning are notably thin in major collections.
