备注	Aschach an der Donau is a small market town on the south bank of the Danube in Upper Austria, and this 50 Heller note is a product of the post-WWI Notgeld wave that swept through Austria between roughly 1919 and 1921. The collapse of the Habsburg monetary system left municipal and commercial issuers scrambling to produce small-denomination emergency currency to cover the chronic shortage of coins — the Vienna mint simply could not keep pace with demand during the inflationary chaos following the armistice. Austrian Notgeld of this period was issued under provincial authorization and had no legal tender status beyond the issuing community's own goodwill.
