| Obverse description | The note is divided into two vertical panels printed in blue and brown on plain paper. The left panel carries the issuer inscription in Gothic script above the large denomination numeral '50' set within a decorative cartouche, with the word 'HELLER' on a ribbon banner beneath. The right panel presents an oval vignette of a panoramic townscape of Annaberg with a church steeple and surrounding Alpine rooftops, framed by a floral garland border, with the caption 'Annaberg N.Oe.' below the vignette. The entire note is enclosed within a dotted rectangular border. |

Five lines of Gothic-script text state the legal redemption notice, followed by a counterfeiting warning, the title 'Der Bürgermeister:' and a manuscript facsimile signature of the mayor. The printer's imprint appears at the foot of the note outside the border. |
