Obverse description The obverse is framed by an ornate border of oak-leaf and acorn motifs, with corner squares at each angle. The central upper panel carries the issuing authority text in Gothic script, flanked left and right by circular denomination medallions bearing the numeral '50' in bold, with the word 'Heller' in rectangular cartouches below each. A central vignette portrays a bearded male figure in an oval surround, crossed by two halberds or spears — likely a historical or allegorical reference — below which a facsimile signature of the Bürgermeister (J. Haselmayr) appears. Anti-counterfeiting text 'Nachahmung wird gesetzlich bestraft' appears at lower left, validity date 'Gültig nur bis 31. Dezember 1920' at lower right, and the designer's credit 'Entw. v. R. Blondler' is noted at the lower right margin.

Reverse description The reverse presents a large central vignette rendered in fine letterpress, illustrating a dramatic woodland battle scene with armoured soldiers and infantry engaged in close combat among birch trees — a depiction of the historical engagement known as the Battle of Ebelsberg or a local Peasants' War skirmish. The scene is set within an arched frame of diagonal hatching and a beaded border, itself surrounded by a foliate outer border with corner squares. A caption in Gothic script below the vignette identifies the scene.
