| Obverse description | Printed in brown on pink paper, the obverse is framed by an ornate letterpress border with foliate and geometric motifs. At centre top, an oval vignette shows a farmer ploughing a field with a horse-drawn plough, flanked by birds in flight and resting animals in the lower corners. The denomination numerals '50' appear in large Gothic script on either side of the centre, with the issuer inscription in Kurrent script below. |
