Obverse description Letterpress in black on a green underprint. The Austro-Hungarian imperial coat of arms appears as a vignette at top centre, above bilingual text in German setting out the note's denomination and legal authority. The lower portion carries the authorising signatures of the Economic Officer, Camp Commander, and Deposit Manager, with the date of issue 1 July 1916.

Reverse description Letterpress in black on a yellow underprint. The Austro-Hungarian imperial coat of arms is centred at the top as a vignette, above parallel text in Hungarian conveying the same denomination and conditions of validity. The printer's imprint of Globus Budapest appears at the foot of the note.
