正面描述	Monochrome grey-green Notgeld printed in a Jugendstil typographic style. The central field carries the large block-letter legends STADTGEMEINDE WELS, GUTSCHEIN, and FÜNFZIG HELLER, with numeral 50 vignettes at lower left and right set against wavy-line underprints. A tall decorative panel at right bears an Art Nouveau foliate scroll motif. Redemption text and the signature of Bürgermeister Carl Richter appear in the lower centre.
