| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field bears the Slovak national shield depicting a double-barred patriarchal cross rising from a three-peaked mountain, all within a pointed heraldic escutcheon. The circular legend SLOVENSKÁ REPUBLIKA arcs around the upper periphery, while the date 1944 appears in the lower field below the shield, flanked by decorative dots. The design is rendered in bold relief with a plain inner border against a flat field. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Slovakia's wartime government struck iron pattern coinage in 1944 as the Reich's demands on raw materials made traditional alloys increasingly unavailable. This 50 Halierov piece in iron never reached circulation — the Slovak National Uprising in August 1944 and the subsequent German military occupation effectively collapsed the administrative machinery needed to authorize and distribute new coinage before the war's end the following spring.
