Description de l’avers Ornamental frame with five medallions. Top left medallion with allegory of music and painting. Top right medallion with allegory of architecture and sculpture. Top middle medallion with two lions holding royal coat of arms of Bavaria on a crowned embroidered shield, depicting a lion representing the Palatinate, sloping lines with a central bar representing Swabia, three peaks for Franconia, a blue lion for the Counts of Veldenz, and an inner escutcheon with lozenges for Bavaria. In lower left and right medallions, allegorical heads of Bavaria. At the bottom, a rosette with value.
