背面描述	The full national coat of arms of Gabon is displayed prominently in the centre, featuring a shield divided into three sections bearing three gold discs above and a sailing ship below, surmounted by a helm and flanked by two black panthers as supporters, with a scroll bearing the national motto at the base and a sprig of okoumé branches above. The legend REPUBLIQUE GABONAISE curves along the upper periphery, flanked by small stars. The denomination 50 Fr. appears in the lower central field, with the independence commemoration inscription INDEPENDANCE 17 AOUT 1960 arranged in two lines below.
