Additional information

Belgium co-hosted Euro 2000 with the Netherlands, the first time the tournament was shared between two nations. The dual-host arrangement was something of a political compromise brokered through UEFA, and Belgium's commemoration of the event split neatly along linguistic lines — this Dutch-text version paired with a French-text equivalent, a routine accommodation to the country's federalized mint output that had been standard practice since the 1990s.
