Beschrijving voorzijde	The obverse is centred on an intaglio-engraved vignette of a Moorish horseshoe arch set within an ornate architectural surround of interlaced geometric tilework, printed in green tones over a fine guilloche underprint. The issuer name "BANQUE D'ÉTAT DU MAROC" runs across the top margin, with the denomination numeral "50" at lower left and lower right and the legend "Cinquante Francs" in letterpress below the arch. Serial number and series designations flank the upper field, with the date positioned at centre.

Beschrijving keerzijde	The reverse carries an intaglio vignette of a grand Moroccan Moorish archway enclosed within a detailed architectural frame of interlaced arches and geometric zellige tilework, rendered in green. The issuer name in Arabic script "بنك الدولة المغربية" appears across the upper portion of the composition, with the denomination "خمسون فرنكا" at lower centre. Engravers' credits appear in the lower corners of the design.
