Obverse description	Black intaglio printing on a multicolor guilloche underprint in orange and pink tones. A finely engraved oval vignette at right presents a Congolese woman in profile facing left, wearing traditional beaded jewelry and an elaborate coiffure. At centre-left, a large ornate guilloche rosette frames the numeral '50', with the Belgian Congo flag vignette above and the bilingual denomination 'CINQUANTE FRANCS / PAYABLES À VUE' in a decorative panel below; series and emission date lettering appear in red.

Reverse description	Printed entirely in dark green on a light ground, the reverse is dominated by a large intaglio vignette of a prowling leopard in a dense jungle setting, rendered with fine engraved detail. Large numeral '50' counters appear at left and right within elaborately engine-turned borders, and the emission year is overprinted in red above the central vignette. The bilingual denomination 'VIJFTIG FRANK / BETAALBAAR OP ZICHT' is set in a decorative panel at the foot of the design.
