Descrizione del dritto	Central oval vignette in intaglio engraving with two cherubim seated at lower left and right flanking a female mask at the base, the whole framed by elaborate guilloche scrollwork and foliate ornament. Denomination numerals "50" occupy medallions at each corner, while the bank title and denomination are rendered in letterpress within the central field, accompanied by a legal warning cartouche at upper centre and bilingual text in French and Arabic script along the lower register. Two manuscript signatures appear below the central vignette, with the engraver's and designer's credits inscribed in the lower margin.

Descrizione del rovescio	Four intaglio portrait medallions in circular frames occupy the corners of a large oval guilloche border, each presenting a classical bust in profile. The numeral "50" in bold letterpress dominates the centre of the oval, surrounded by dense engine-turned geometric ornament and foliate scrollwork. Anti-counterfeiting warning cartouches are positioned at left and right within the border, and the designer's and engraver's credits appear in the lower margin.
