正面描述 Red-brown and multicolour note with a central vignette of a Burrowing Owl (Athene cunicularia arubensis, locally known as Shoco), the endemic subspecies of Aruba. The denomination '50' appears in the upper left and lower right corners against a guilloche underprint, with the issuer name 'CENTRALE BANK VAN ARUBA' and the Dutch legend 'WETTIG BETAALMIDDEL' (legal tender) inscribed across the note. The scientific name of the owl species is printed below the central vignette.

备注

Aruba's separation from the Netherlands Antilles in 1986 as a separate "Status Aparte" constituent country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands required the rapid establishment of independent monetary infrastructure — the Centrale Bank van Aruba opened the same year, and this 1993 issue belongs to the first complete series it produced. Enschedé, printing banknotes continuously since the early eighteenth century, was the natural choice for a small island authority needing internationally credible security printing without a domestic facility.

Evelino Fingal's involvement as designer is notable — locally rooted design commissions for Caribbean currency were still uncommon at this point in the region's monetary history.
