| 正面描述 | Central to the obverse, the denomination '٥٠ فلسا' (50 Fils) is rendered in Arabic numerals and script within a raised circle. The legend 'الكُوَيت' (Kuwait) arcs above the central circle in Arabic script, while the English transliteration 'KUWAIT' appears below in Latin characters. The overall design is clean and geometric, with the inscriptions arranged concentrically around the central denomination within the field. |

Kuwait's shift to a silver .925 alloy for this denomination was driven by the Central Bank's strategy to maintain a prestige circulation coinage alongside the standard cupro-nickel issues — a dual-track approach unusual among Gulf states of the period. Production was suspended during the Iraqi occupation of 1990–91, and examples dated from that window simply do not exist.
