| Reverse description | Central device features a large ornate multi-pointed star or sunburst rosette with detailed radial feathered rays, at the centre of which is a circular medallion bearing Arabic calligraphic inscription. Below the central device, the Arabic legend 'پمباه' (Pemba) appears in the lower field, with the Arabic numeral date '٢٠١٣' inscribed beneath it. The overall design is executed in a style reminiscent of Ottoman or Islamic decorative heraldry. |

| Additional information |
No Sultanate of Pemba has issued coinage. Pemba is an island administered as part of Tanzania's Zanzibar semi-autonomous region, and no internationally recognized or numismatically documented sultanate there struck currency in 2013. This piece is almost certainly a fantasy issue — produced for sale to collectors with no governmental authority behind it.
