| Obverse description | The obverse centres on a colour-printed oval vignette within an elaborate Art Nouveau scrollwork cartouche, presenting a view of Sopron's main square (Fő tér) with the historic Fire Tower rising against a blue sky, flanked by Baroque townhouses. The denomination numeral '50' is set in large bold letterpress at both the left and right margins, while the redemption text and date 'SOPRON, 1918·MÁJ·1.' appear across the upper and lower fields respectively.
