| Descrizione del dritto | The obverse presents an intricate panoramic field densely populated with all twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac rendered in low relief, radiating outward in wedge-shaped segments separated by engraved lines. Each segment is labeled along the rim with a year from 2018 to 2029, arranged clockwise. At upper right, a raised circular cartouche with a mirror-polished field bears the initials 'RF' in the upper legend and depicts two seated figurines in the lower portion, evoking traditional Chinese decorative art. The denomination '50 EURO' appears prominently in the left field in large numerals and letters, with the legend 'CALENDRIER CHINOIS' inscribed in a curved band across the lower portion of the cartouche border. |
