| Opis rewersu | Represents an extremely rare 13th-century reliquary case (Museum inventory no. B/804, h 14.1 x 22 x 8.6 cm), characterized by a brilliant blue enamel on which a series of aediculae holding the busts of saints in relief are depicted. This object can be attributed to Limousin manufacture, although it is less refined and of a later date (late 13th century). This museum piece was donated to the new `Museum of Public Authorities` between 1867 and 1868 by Count Carlo Bruc De, a distinguished Neapolitan physician of French origin, to whom the museum owes other generous donations. |
