Obverse description Central coloured oval field depicts a dramatic historical scene commemorating Spanish support during the American Revolutionary War, showing a standing military officer in tricorn hat and dark cape aboard a small rowing vessel in a harbour, with a large sailing warship firing a salute visible in the background and period architecture on the left shore. The scene is rendered in full colour against a polished proof field. The border of the coloured vignette is framed by an ornate silver rope-twist and foliate cartouche at the base. The circumferential legend arcs around the upper portion of the coin reading '250 ANIVERSARIO DECLARACIÓN DE INDEPENDENCIA DE LOS EE.UU. - 1776', accompanied by a ring of thirteen five-pointed stars. The lower field bears the issuer legend 'ESPAÑA 2026' in raised letters.
