| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse depicts The Little Prince strolling alongside the fox upon his small planet, rendered in rich detail with lush green vegetation covering the surface. In the background, a starfield and the ringed planet Saturn frame the celestial setting, evoking the whimsical universe of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's narrative. The legend 'Le Petit Prince' appears in the field alongside the French Republic monogram 'RF' and the trademarked series identifier 'LPP®'. |

Issued as part of Monnaie de Paris's ongoing Little Prince commemorative program, which launched in 2015 on the 70th anniversary of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's book and has since expanded into one of the mint's most commercially sustained collector series. Saint-Exupéry himself disappeared over the Mediterranean in July 1944 on a reconnaissance mission, and his rights estate — managed for decades by his niece Françoise de Saint Exupéry — has been notably selective about licensing, making the Monnaie de Paris partnership one of the few sanctioned numismatic uses of the characters.
