Reverse description The reverse features a stylized sail rendered in high relief occupying the central field, superimposed upon which is the denomination '50 EURO' in large numerals. To the right, a right-facing portrait bust of the celebrated French yachtsman Éric Tabarly is rendered in fine engraved detail. A ship's wheel appears at the lower center, serving as a base element for the composition. The curved legend 'Les Grands Navires Français' arcs along the upper periphery within the rope-twist border, and the date '2013' is inscribed at the lower exergue.
