| Descrizione del dritto | The obverse presents an elaborate architectural composition depicting the interior and exterior of the Palais Bourbon (Assemblée Nationale). At the upper centre, a richly detailed ornamental fountain capital from the Place de la Concorde rises prominently, flanked by the neoclassical façade of surrounding Haussmann-era buildings rendered in fine relief. To the lower left, the hemicycle of the National Assembly chamber is depicted in precise perspective, showing the tiered seating arrangement of the legislature. The legend RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE appears in the left field in incuse lettering, displayed in an inverted mirror-image orientation as part of the artistic design. The overall composition reflects a modern engraving style characteristic of Monnaie de Paris commemorative issues. |
