| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents a finely detailed relief depiction of one of the iconic monastery complexes of Meteora, perched atop dramatically sheer sandstone rock pillars. The architectural structure, rendered with careful attention to its massive walls and battlements, rises from the geological formations that dominate the lower field. A second towering rock pillar is visible to the right, enhancing the sense of verticality characteristic of the Meteora landscape. The legend ΜΕΤΕΩΡΑ arcs along the upper left field in Greek capitals, and the date 2025, flanked by a small ornamental motif, appears at the base of the coin. |
