Beschrijving voorzijde The obverse presents a highly detailed architectural panorama depicting the Grand Palais and the Hôtel des Invalides as part of the Paris, Rives de la Seine UNESCO World Heritage series. The upper portion of the field features the iconic glass-and-iron barrel-vaulted roof of the Grand Palais rendered in precise relief, while the lower portion displays the ornate facade and dome of the Invalides. A horizontal band across the center carries the legend REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE in raised Latin characters, interspersed with the architectural imagery in a layered, perspectival composition. The overall design reflects the Beaux-Arts grandeur of both monuments and employs a modern artistic style integrating overlapping architectural elements throughout the field.

Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse is divided diagonally into two contrasting fields, each depicting an interior architectural view of one of the featured monuments. The left half presents the UNESCO logo above the denomination 50 EURO and the date 2015, inscribed in clear raised numerals. The right half features a detailed rendering of the Grand Palais glass roof and nave interior alongside a section of the Invalides, with the legends GRAND PALAIS and INVALIDES inscribed along the outer rim in a clockwise direction. A stylized aerial or plan view of the Seine riverbank appears at the lower left, alluding to the UNESCO designation of Paris, Rives de la Seine. The composition skillfully juxtaposes interior and exterior architectural perspectives in a bold, graphic design.
