50 Euro Concorde

Beschrijving voorzijde	The obverse depicts the Concorde aircraft in full flight over the Bay of Rio de Janeiro, with the Corcovado mountain viewed from behind and the Sugarloaf Mountain rendered in the lower field, evoking the prestigious Air France transatlantic routes. Above the aircraft, the face of the Statue of Liberty dominates the upper field, with the late 20th-century Manhattan skyline and the Twin Towers visible in the background, symbolising the New York destination. The design celebrates the two most iconic destinations served by the Air France Concorde. The face value "50 EURO" and the national initials "RF" appear as legends completing the composition.
