| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse features a bold numeral 50 occupying the right portion of the field, serving as the denomination indicator. To the left, a highly stylized depiction of a Gothic castle or cathedral with multiple spires rises from a horizontal baseline, rendered in fine detail against a smooth field. Twelve five-pointed stars arranged in an arc appear at the upper left, referencing the European Union design convention. The multilingual trial inscription PROBE·ESSAI arcs along the upper border, while TRIAL·PRUEBA appears inverted along the lower border, confirming the piece's status as a pattern or essai strike. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Slovakia never actually issued a 50 euro cent coin in silver in 2004. The country did not adopt the euro until January 2009, and euro cent coins are struck in Nordic gold or steel alloys — never silver. This piece is almost certainly a fantasy issue or private medal produced to speculate on Slovakia's anticipated EU accession, which formally occurred on May 1, 2004.
