| Obverse description | Central device depicts a condor with wings spread wide, perched atop a rocky mountainous outcrop rendered in low relief, with the Andes mountain range suggested in the background. The bird faces left with detailed feathering across its wings and body. The circular legend REPUBLICA DE CHILE arcs along the upper periphery of the dodecagonal flan. The Santiago mint mark appears in the lower exergue beneath the rocky base. |

| Reverse description | The large bold numeral 50 dominates the central field, with the Escudo currency symbol Eº positioned above it near the top of the coin. The date of issue appears in the lower portion of the field beneath the denomination. The entire central motif is framed by two symmetrical laurel branches rising from the base and curving inward along either side, their stems crossing at the bottom to form a wreath-like border. |
