| Opmerkingen |
The E50 was the highest denomination in regular circulation when this series launched, reflecting the rapid expansion of Swaziland's financial sector following the establishment of the Central Bank in 1974. Thomas De La Rue's involvement gave the series a level of technical consistency the country's earlier currency arrangements, which relied on South African rand as legal tender well into the 1970s, had never required.
Two distinct signature combinations appear across the P#22 run — Dlamini/Oliver and Shabangu/Nxumalo — making date-signature pairing a key factor in proper cataloging.
