| Obverse description | Central field features the coat of arms of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, depicting a double-headed eagle with wings spread, surmounted by a crown, and bearing a shield charged with a stepped pattern and a landscape motif. The eagle is set against a radiant sunburst emanating from behind the shield. Flanking the base of the arms are sprigs of wheat to the left and a grape vine cluster to the right. The upper field carries the Latin legend NAGORNO-KARABAKH arching along the rim, with the Armenian inscriptions ԼԵՌՆԱՅԻՆ ՂԱՐԱԲԱՂԻ ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ on a horizontal banner and ԱՐՑԱԽ on a central ribbon.
