Beschrijving voorzijde	Central design features a scenic depiction of the Ararat region, with a stone church or monastery complex in the foreground set against a landscape dominated by the twin peaks of Mount Ararat in the background. Radiating lines in the upper field evoke sunbeams emanating from behind the mountain, lending the composition a ceremonial quality. The circular Armenian legend around the upper periphery reads 'ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆԻ ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅԱՆ ԿԵՆՏՐՈՆԱԿԱՆ ԲԱՆԿ' (Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia), while the lower legend reads 'ԱՐԱՐԱՏԻ ՄԱՐԶ' (Ararat Region).
