The central vignette reproduces the Eleusinian Relief, an ancient Greek marble bas-relief, with Demeter, Triptolemos, and Persephone depicted in classical style. A peasant woman figure appears at right, with the watermark zone reserved at left; denomination numerals flank the central composition at both sides.
