Opmerkingen

The Republic of Texas never issued a 50 Dollar note — this is a novelty piece produced for the tourist trade, almost certainly tied to a themed leisure or hospitality venue. Trust House Forte Leisure Ltd. was a British hospitality conglomerate active in the 1980s, and their involvement here points toward a theme park or resort attraction rather than any serious numismatic purpose. The "Sheriff" signature title removes any ambiguity about intended use.

Sparks Associates Production appears to have handled the physical printing. Collectible mainly as ephemera.
