| 背面描述 | A finely detailed, high-relief portrait of a male lion's head and mane dominates the field, rendered with naturalistic engraving that captures the texture of the flowing mane in great detail. The lion faces slightly to the left in a three-quarter view, filling the majority of the coin's field. The legend LION is inscribed in bold letters along the upper periphery, while the date 1996 appears to the right of the portrait in the mid-field. The denomination FIFTY DOLLARS is inscribed in bold letters along the lower periphery. |

The Marshall Islands issued commemorative silver dollars prolifically throughout the 1990s, contracting production to foreign mints — primarily in the United States — to serve the collector market rather than domestic circulation. The program generated revenue for the government but drew consistent criticism from numismatic bodies for saturating the market with issues that held little secondary value.
KM#350 is one of dozens from that decade. Mintage figures for this series were rarely constrained, and many issues remain common in original packaging.
