| Obverse description | The national arms of Nauru depicted centrally within the field, comprising a quartered shield supported by two frigate bird feather sprays flanking either side, surmounted by a twelve-pointed star above the shield. A scroll at the base bears the motto 'GOD'S WILL FIRST' in the exergue. The encircling legend reads 'BANK OF NAURU' at the top and 'NAOERO' on the upper scroll of the arms, with the date '1994' appearing at the bottom of the field. The design is rendered with a high-relief finish against a polished black background. |
