| Reverse description | A large, highly detailed Sugar Maple Leaf (the iconic 'Big Maple Leaf' design) dominates the center of the reverse field, struck in fine relief against a frosted background. Flanking the central leaf on either side are two elegantly scrolled branches composed of smaller gold-plated maple leaves, forming a laurel-like frame of distinctly Canadian character. A gold-plated ribbon banner traverses the lower portion of the design, bearing the bilingual commemorative inscription '35 YEARS | ANS' flanked by the dates '1988' and '2023', marking the 35th anniversary of the original Big Maple Leaf bullion series. The legend 'CANADA' arcs along the upper periphery, with the fineness mark '9999 9999' appearing to either side of the central leaf, and the inscription 'FINE SILVER 5OZ ARGENT PUR' running along the lower rim.
