Reverse description The central field features a naturalistic high-relief depiction of the Golden Allamanda (Allamanda cathartica), the national flower of the Bahamas, rendered as a cluster of open trumpet-shaped blossoms with prominently veined petals accompanied by broad ovate leaves radiating across the field. The denomination legend FIFTY DOLLARS arcs along the upper periphery in bold raised lettering. The fineness inscription 500/1000 FINE GOLD appears in small characters along the lower field, followed by the Franklin Mint mark, all enclosed within a beaded inner border.
